Venus Factor in Australia, Canada and the United States, why are there no real and genuine Venus Factor reviews?
As some of my ebooksfitness.com readers will know, I have been visiting Queensland, Australia and meeting up with some fellow Venus Factor users I have met through the ebooksfitness website and through the Venus Factor community forums. Living in Seattle and visiting Vancouver on a regular basis I get to meet many American and Canadian women who share with me their weight loss aspirations and goals. But they also tell me the hardest part of the Venus Factor is actually finding a true, real or genuine Venus Factor review! This comment comes up in nearly every conversation. The answer is simply that they are lost within the maze of Venus Factor spam out there on the internet. The internet can be a great place to research subjects but not when there is marketing involved. I did a Google search on Venus Factor and I went through the first 30 entries and 27 were spam. Being ranked number one on Google for Venus Factor doesn’t mean they are more trustworthy. It means they have paid for a lot of fake links! I found all sorts of tricks and other underhand activities and all in broken English with bad grammar. The You Tube videos are a waste of time as are Facebook. There are telltale signs, so use your intuition and if you see bad English grammar do not buy. Only use websites you can verify are in the US, Canada or Australia that have contact details and actually respond to your queries. Trust forums more than websites with funny or unrelated names. And if you find a trustworthy Venus Factor site and you want to purchase the Venus Factor, then buy a one week trial, that way you have only spent $9.95 instead of $47 and you can try it out. And also the real Venus Factor company will offer you more discounts during those 7 days. If you have any problems and want to ask me about anything related to this post, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
So, what is the most flattering shape for women? According to the research of John Barban the creator of the Venus Factor there is a certain body shape that the opposite sex finds most attractive: the hourglass figure. To achieve the hourglass figure the width of your hips must be exactly the same or almost the same as the width of your bust and your waist must be much narrower. In contrast, the apple shape is when there is a lot of fat stored in the midsection and is not considered an attractive body shape. The pear shape is when the hips are much wider than the bust. This body shape is certainly more feminine than the apple shape, but is not considered ideal.
What happens if you are an apple or a pear? Can you actually achieve the hourglass figure and should you really obsess over it? Depending on your starting point, you may not be able to achieve the perfect hourglass figure, but you can get as close as you can. The aim is not to look just like the women you see in the magazines. The aim is to become the best possible version of yourself!
Even if beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, health must also be taken into consideration. For example, having a very wide waist is not only aesthetically displeasing, but has also been associated with many health problems. A large waistline is an independent risk factor even if you are not considered “overweight” or “obese” according to the Body Mass Index (BMI). If your waist is above 34.5 inches (88 cm) , this can reduce insulin sensitivity, negatively affect your cholesterol levels and increase the risk of developing diabetes, hypertension and heart disease. As you can see, even though every woman has her own unique body shape, in some cases it would be better to go against the flow rather than to embrace your body shape.
The Venus Factor is a 12 week system that can help you achieve the best possible female shape. But, can you really change your body shape? Many magazines try to convince that you are either an apple, a banana, a pear, or a hourglass and that this can never change no matter what you do. But, the truth is that these are only patterns of fat distribution. If you have a lot of excess weight, then fat distribution may be asymmetrical. You may store a lot of fat in your thighs or in the midsection and this is certainly genetically determined. The question is what would happen if you lost all of your excess fat? Would you still have an apple or a pear body shape? Probably not. There will be nothing there to create that look. So, the aim of the Venus Factor is to help you lower your body fat percentage as much as possible (not below healthy levels, of course) and to develop your muscles, in order to create the ideal body shape. The Venus Index – What does it stand for?
The Venus Index is based on three ratios:
The ideal waist is 38% of your height. The number can be obtained by multiplying your height in inches by 0.38.
Multiply your waist circumference by 1.42 to get your ideal hip measurements.
Take your ideal waist number and multiply by 1.618 to get your ideal shoulder’s circumference.
You've started the Venus Factor program, you're on week two and you're cruising along...you've already lost a couple pounds and you're right on target with your calories today. Then someone shows up to work with birthday cupcakes and drops one on your desk. You don't want to be the odd one out not celebrating so you oblige and eat the cupcake...and it’s GOOD!
Now you feel a mix of contentment and shame for eating something that you hadn’t planned for and eating something you considered 'bad' or forbidden. Now your thoughts turn to pasta, ice cream, pizza, chocolate and whatever else you can indulge in because...hey, you've already ruined the day by eating the cupcake, might as well just go all out now!
This exact scenario happens to everyone who attempts a weight loss diet with strict thoughts of 'good' versus 'bad' foods in their mind. The moment you eat a 'bad' or forbidden food a psychological event happens, where you imagine you've crossed a point of no return...you've essentially crossed into the forbidden zone and now that you're there you think you might as well just spend the rest of the day there!
The scientific term for this is 'disinhibited eating'...and it only happens to people who believe in strictly defined thoughts of 'good' versus 'bad' food. These people are also called 'restrained eaters'. Restrained eaters are people who eat particular foods because they believe them to be bad or unhealthy. This type of eating leads to feelings of guilt, shame, and failure whenever the restrained eater 'breaks' and has one of their forbidden foods.
But let us look at what actually happened. You ate a cupcake that might have had 400 calories in it...that’s it. Your RESPONSE to this event is what makes all the difference. I want you to just count these calories towards your daily total and adjust the rest of your eating for that day accordingly. No judgements of good or bad, just calories and weight loss.
If you believe that cupcake was bad then the process of disinhibited eating starts and the feelings of guilt and shame take over. This effect of crossing into the forbidden zone and overeating is very real and I think is at the root of the failure of many diets. In order to avoid this issue you must re-frame food from good versus bad categories to simply the total amount of calories they have. So if you really feel like it's a cupcake kind of day, then go ahead and have the cupcake ten adjust your food intake accordingly for the rest of the day.
This is the only way to lose weight, keep it off AND keep your sanity. This is what the Venus Factor is all about and why it works so well!
